need help deciding, i5 2400+gtx 1050ti or i5 3470+gtx 1050.

hi, I am quite new to the pc gaming world as I've recently got my first job. I have a set budget for my first pc. in that budget I have a choice of what I think to be OK starting pcs. one with an i5 2400, gtx 1050ti and 8gb ram and the other with an i5 3470, gtx 1050 and 8gb ram. I just needed help to decide weather the better cpu is worth the hit to the gpu as to be honest I'm not a heavy gamer I will most likely be playing modded minecraft and city skylines. thank you.

an i3 7100 will be way faster than the old i5 2400 because of hyperthreading
and for the gpu if you play memory intensive games like watch dogs 2 then go with gtx 1050 ti as it has 4gb vram
but still gtx 1050 will provide same performance with 2gb vram usage
but for the processor don't go with old gen
even an Pentium 7th gen will be a wiser choice
