No it isnt thats ecc ram for server mobos. I dont think your mobo is a server board.

Nope. That motherboard does take DDR2, but not ECC registered RAM. The stuff you linked is intended for use in systems that need ECC, usually reserved for servers.

If you just need a stick of 1GB, something like this is equivalent but will work with your system.

In theory, yes. Your board can support 1066/800/667 MHz memory modules. The stuff you're looking at is DDR2-8500 (which is 1066), so it can support that kind of RAM. Ideally you'd pull from the memory support list, but the list is very short and just because something isn't on it doesn't mean it won't work. It just mean Gigabyte hasn't tested it. The only way to know for sure is to try.
