So, my GPU stopped working in my main PC.
What Ive tried and tested:
- The GPU works in my other PC fine
- A spare GPU does not work in my main PC but works in my other.
- I can run my PC off onboard graphics.
- I tried both my main and spare GPU on all the PCIE slots of main PC.

I asked around and talked with my tech mates. We narrowed it down to either the motherboard slots are malfunctioning, or the CPUs PCIE lanes are malfunctioning.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Did you test the psu? I'd start with that first and if you don't have a tester, swap out from a spare system or go to a local parts store that has a 15 day return policy so you're not stuck with a new psu you don't need. If that doesn't resolve the issue it has to be the motherboard imo.

What psu are you using now?

Hmm, that seems like it could possibly be it. Im using an Antec High Current Gamer 900W. I could try plugging my spare crappy 500W Psu outside the case and run my cheapest spare GPU off it and see if thats the problem. Ill give that a try on my day off, thanks.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated :)
