Hi!

I built this computer few weeks ago, and 2 days ago faced issue with ram - turned off pc in evening and next morning it did not turn on. Brought it back to life only after re-inserting one of RAMs. Slots are clean, and BIOS updated to latest version.

Motherboard Asus PRIME B250-PRO

RAM 2x4GB Kingston 8GB PC17000 DDR4 HyperX Fury KIT OF 2 HX421C14FBK2/8

CPU i5-7400

Also RAM works only in B1 and B2 slots, otherwise, ifI insert it in A1 and A2, monitor doesnt work.

Please help, I have no idea what to do. RAM must be good.

!!!UPDATE!!! I dont think it's RAM's fault. My pc doesnt turn on whith no RAM inserted too. I mean - I took out bouth memory sticks, turned it on, then turned off and the same happened - it didn't turn on and made some fast, silent clicking sound, as if something would have been stuck.

Yes, I reinstalled CMOS, didn't work too. Will notify when they will finish diagnostic and maybe replaced mobo or RAM.
