So I know of chipsets A, B, and X although now I'm seeing some MicroATX boards that have an AB chipset and I'm a bit confused because I can't find any information about it. Could anyone explain what this chipset is?

Ex: GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-D3H

Solution
The AB350 is still a B350-chipset motherboard, such as the Gigabyte GA-AB350-GAMING 3, the ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4, or the ASRock AB350 Pro4. The "A" probably stands for AMD (as Intel has a B chipset as well, B250, to avoid interchanging).

Note that even some X-chipset AMD motherboards have an A prefix in them, such as the Gigabyte GA-AX370-GAMING 5 or the Gigabyte GA-AX370-GAMING K7. Again, just probably to indicate that it is an AMD motherboard.
