I know there are thread with the same topic so i do apologize.
Just want to know on idle temperatures this means just browsing google, making a thread about CPU temperatures etc im getting around 37-45C with a H110i V2 water cooler. I just re-added my thermal paste and i did a generous line down the middle of the cpu and tighten the screws not too much but tighter than finger tight. I get around %2 to around 10% CPU utilization.
However if i start doing new things like opening a new tab, opening folder explorer, or opening a new program the temperatures shoots to around 57/60 then return to the normal 37 - 44 C.
When my CPU is around 95-100% utilization (rendering a video in Sony Vegas) my temperatures are 67 - 75 C
What i dont understand is, if my CPU at 4% is at 40C how on earth can 95% only be at 70C? an extra 90% of utilization gives only 30+ C?.
