So i was playing h1z1 last night and my pc died out of no where, the boot drive led was up so i took the pc apart and refitted my m.2 and put it together again then my gpu led came on and so i decided to refit that and that led comes on when i power up but goes away after a few seconds, so i pulled out a spare harddrive and came to the conclusion my m.2 died when i saw the light still on. The light is still on even though my m.2 is plugged out, i cant get into the bios and i still get the gpu led appear and disappear too. I screwed up my back when rebuilding this and have very little patience left, id appreciate any help.

Parts:
Gtx 1070 kfa2 exoc
7350k
Asus z170i (w new bios update)

Edit: i get another led just above my graphics card below ram but no idea what it means, has no mention of it in asus mobo guide booklet thing.

Solution

If you have more then one stick of ram, try the other, just to be sure it's not ram problem.
That LED above GPU is probably Standby Power LED.
Bad drive could cause a lot of different problems, but 'dying out of nowhere' is not one of them. It is more likely that some other component is causing the problem. Disconnect all drives, GPU (connect monitor to mobo) and leave just one stick of ram, and try to boot.
