Should i overclock my MSI GAMING 4GB RX 480?

Hi, i was looking into overclocking my graphics card but I don't know if it would be safe or not my computer runs a little warm as it is base clock my tower gets really warm to the touch when playing intense 3d games like overwatch or battlefront but not so much when I'm playing terraria gmod ect.. I would like any opinion Thanks for your reply in advance! -Jake

With that build you should be running the games you listed fine on stock clocks, no? I'm not sure why you'd want to overclock.

If you're dead set on it, 75°C is pretty hot, and overclocking will definitely raise that number. Its not incredibly dangerous per say, but usually I like to keep my temps under 65-70 under a full load. I say you should clean out the dust from your case and maybe rearrange the wiring; possibly invest in a couple extra case fans to keep in cool inside. If your temps drop significantly and you still want to overclock you should be fine.

Whenever i play a 3d intensive games Ex: Overwatch, Just cause 3 my GPU runs at around 75°C
My specs are as follows
:
OS: WINDOWS 10 64BIT

MOTHERBOARD: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard

PROCESSOR: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor

GRAPHICS CARD: MSI Radeon RX 480 4GB GAMING X Video Card

RAM: G.Skill 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Ripjaws Series
