Hey all. I've got an old Gateway from the late 90's that I plan on using as a simple server for my model train layout. The problem is, the original heatsink has lost its fan, and to be honest I'm not sure it ever really did the job. I've been scouring the Internet for weeks now trying to find a replacement that isn't more or less identical to stock, but it appears that back then no one made better heatsinks.
I've decided to try to adapt a newer heatsink to fit. Does anyone know how hard that would be and/or if there's a pre-existing adapter for any current socket type to 423?
