So I have purchased a Corsair H55 and will be getting an AMD FX-8320 CPU, will my liquid cooler be sufficient for keeping my temps low under load?
Also will I be able to OC decently using this cooler?

Solution
The H55 will work. It's an alright cooler but you can do far better for the money. It will do what you're asking of it.

The 8320 is more than 5 years old, and AMD has publicly stated that the FX series were a failure and a mistake. So, if the company that built them are ashamed... Anyway it's equivalent in gaming to the $60 Intel Pentium G4560. Granted, with the Pentium you'd need a new motherboard and RAM, so the FX may still make sense to give a little more life to an aging system.

Regarding your RAM, it will probably play nicely together but that isn't always the case. You won't know until you try.

Hes already purchased the H55. If he can return it that would be good.

I dont understand why you guys say that the 8320 is bad, ive only heard good things about it from people im close with.
Also the 8320 is inexpensive to the intel equivalent and im getting decent power for my buck.
Im not getting the 8350, im getting the 8320.
Also mobo and ram are Gigabyte GA-970-Gaming SLI and G.Skill Sniper series 1866 2x4GB.
Also please keep in mind i wasnt asking for suggestions on what or what not to buy, i want to know if the H55 will keep the temps of the 8320 down while i game.
