my mobo is GA-F2A68HM-HD2 and i have a AMD A10 7890k with a gpu GTX 960 ssc 4gb
i used to own a 7850k cpu and its stock speed is at 3.7ghz and i OC it to 4.10ghz it ran amazing with the GTX 960 for a good year.
but then it dramatically started working slow. it was very noticeable since i have a 144hz monitor.
when i had minecraft i used to get over 400fps on high settings.. and shaders mods would run on 100+fps.
but now i get like 40 to 60 to 120 fps. and with shaders its 40 fps.
i thought maybe the CPU got bad cause i had a Stock cooler that came with it.
so i bought a new cpu 7890k it came with a wraith cooler which is like 10x better than stock.
and i replaced the 7850k with it. and i saw no difference between them. cause the 7890k stock speed is at 4.10ghz and turbos to 4.30ghz.
But i still had the same problem. i went on minecraft to test out the cpu and i still got the same results it starts from 40fps and slowly rises to 60 then 80-90 and drops around like that.
i even got on counter strike global and i was getting frames at 43-56 and when i looked somewhere like the edge of the map it hit 100fps.
i know i never had problems with the 7850k running at 4.1ghz on CSGO i had frames going over 400+ but now i get 90 max.
i have no clue what to do. i updated the BIOS from F1 to F2C version which is latest for the 7890k.
i am not good with computers i know small things about it.
i ran a Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0. i ran a TEST and got this http://i.imgur.com/jN3sez0.jpg
and also the temps reached to 74c and memory was at 3505Mhz
ive read that it could be thermal throttling or GPU.
i have no clue and i need help ASAP
