So I have a MSI 1060 3gb, and I used to be able to run bf1 at ultra, now I can barely it on low, and I want to be vr ready I just don't know where this fps drop came from, I'm really confused, its not over heated I don't know what is wrong with it, I have all the latest drivers installed

I would hazard a guess that you are running out of Vram.... then your system is losing FPS while it shifts things around to free Vram etc

3GB is good but its not even NEARLY enough for ultra settings on most titles and especially VR!

As to why you used to be able to run these titles without issues?
Simply put... a setting somewhere must have been changed... wheather its a global setting in Nvidia Control Panel or whatever.

Get a benchmark tool like MSI Kombuster...... Get afterburner to display FPS and Clock speeds in OSD run Benchmark and look at all the info to better understand what is going on.........
