Computer:
Cpu: Ryzen 1700 (not oc)
Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk B350
Gpu: Gigabyte GTX 1070 OC
Ram: Hyper X Fury DDR4 8gig
PSU: EVGA 750 GQ

On battlefield 1 on high and 1080p I get around 40-60 frames. I tried turning off vsync but nothing went up. I also tried to optimize the game in geforce experience but got the same results. However online I see gtx 1070 reach over 100 frames with no problem on ultra.

Sorry if my description is lacking, it's my first time asking a question and my first pc.

Edit:
Computer shut off by itself when trying to close out of BF1

Edit2:
I know this is different than what the title is asking but how much can a ryzen 1700 overclock with a stock cooler?

the 1700 bottlenecks the gtx 1070 at 1080p, you are not going to get benchmark numbers from the gpu

that said you should be getting better fps

do you monitor cpu temps?

is your ram running at it's rated speed?

you have the newest drivers from the nvidia website?

I suggest you install msi afterburner and monitor cpu temps and speed, gpu temps, gpu core/memory speeds while you play

I was overclocking my cpu to get 3.7 GHz and was running at 45-50 C (on idle). I did install the newest drivers and my ram is running on single channel only right now.

Should i try to overclock the cpu with the stock cooler to minimize the bottleneck?
