So I have purchased a used Windforce GTX-780 which requires 2 8-Pin connectors, but my Thermaltake Toughpower 750W Power Supply is old and did not come with any 8-Pin connectors. It has 2 6-Pin PCI-E connectors instead.
I was wondering if I could use a 2 x 6-Pin to 8-Pin adapter and a 2 x Molex to 8-Pin connector for each of the 8-Pin slots on my GPU, and whether it would provide enough power, as I am unsure how to calculate this. I have already purchased a 2 x 6-Pin connector and I am waiting for it to be delivered, while I managed to find a Molex connector from another PC.
