Well I wouldn't use the latest version of prime95, it uses avx calculations which is not a realistic type of load for say a gaming computer. I would use prime95 version 26.6, I linked it below.

However I would still say 100c is very warm for that cooler even if prime95 is using avx. I would assume the cooler was not mounted properly or you did not use enough thermal paste.
