Hi im wondering should i get a ryzen 5 1600 or a i5-7600k for my computer that i'm building, i know Intel is better for gaming but i also want to stream and edit youtube videos?

Solution
Ryzen's multi-core CPUs are fantastic for both streaming and video editing- however, their gaming usage is sub-par, but still just fine. The i5-7600k is a fairly well-rounded CPU, making up for what it lacks in a large amount of cores like the Ryzen with withstanding performance and good hyperthreading. Personally, I'd go with Intel. It depends which one you do more often. More gaming than editing, Intel. More editing than gaming, Ryzen. :)

The Ryzen is a great streaming CPU. For strict 4K home threatre systems, a Ryzen is prefered.
