Ram and Motherboard Compatibility

Solution
The 8GB DDR4 (not DDR3) module needs an entirely different build (Motherboard and CPU). Since you already have an 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 (not DDR4), then, no need to replace that with the 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3.

If you want better FPS, you should be looking at upgrading your GPU -- that would be the most noticeable difference in gaming performance. Just make you have an equally powerful CPU for a "balanced system" so as not to hinder the maximum possible performance of that GPU.
You cannot use DDR4 RAMs on that motherboard. It only supports DDR3.

On the 2 RAM links you posted, the Corsair is DDR4 (you can't physically use that) while the HyperX Fury is DDR3 (you can physically use that).

However, the Gigabyte H81M-S only supports 1333MHz or 1600MHz RAM speeds. Plugging in a DDR3-1866MHz (the HyperX Fury you linked) would downsize its speed from 1866MHz to 1600MHz (the max. speed your motherboard supports). No problems with that though (I also use 1866MHz on a motherboard that only supports up to 1600MHz speed).

But, if the price of the 1600Mhz version is much cheaper than that of the 1866MHz, you'd better off buying the cheaper one.

Thanks a lot ... One doubt .. i currently have 2x 4gb kingston ram modules ddr3 ones (open circuit ones i doont know their mhz ) .. so is it worth upgrading to the hyperx fury keeping in mind i alreay have 8 gb and my mobo has only 2 slots ?

No point in changing the 8GB (2 x 4GB) RAM modules you already have with a 1 x 8GB -- no noticeable performance difference.

A better upgrade would be getting a 16GB (2 x 8GB) RAM modules, however, that is if your current usage of PC maxes out the 8GB RAM you already have (such as in video editing works or in certain AAA gaming). If the 8GB is not used fully, I'd pass and save the money for upgrading other components.

My only concern was with fps . if it wont cause a noticible change in the fps in games like gta 5 etc then no use taking the 8gb ddr4 module right?
Thanks a lot sir !

Yes the GTX 1050Ti would work nicely with your i5-4440.

If you are playing at 1080p resolution and want to increase graphics settings (high or ultra) while maintaining smooth and acceptable framerates, you can even opt for a GTX 1060 6GB (more expensive) or an RX 480 4GB (less expensive). An RX 470 is also a more powerful GPU than the GTX 1050Ti.

But if you are on a tight budget, the GTX 1050Ti would do for mid-high gaming on 1080p.

Very much tight on budget .. decided to go for 1050ti oc rather than 1050 mini ..
So decided to stay with my 8 gb ddr3 rather than changing my mobo and then taking 8gb ddr4 .. sounds worthless .
Thanks a ton man for the instant replies
Some people are saying 1050ti has driver issues so need to research on that regarding some version of windows 10 ...
