I bought some ASRock Z97X Killer motherboards to use for etherium mining but after hooking everything up when I try to short the pwrbtn pins with either a screwdriver or my two pin switch, It worked once and then on the screen it said make sure to plug in the molex pcie power cable as I had 6 gpus attached to the board and if you use more than three you have to use the molex power cable. So since then after I shut off the power, trying to short the two pwrbtn pins doesn't work. I even set up another same motherboard and still nothing. The board gets power from my two psu's and have both power cables plugged into the board, I'm using only one 4gb stick of ddr3 ram, but when I try to short the pins nothing happens. So what am I doing wrong here, as my other biostar motherboards worked like a charm but these asrocks are a pain in my rear.
UPDATE:
I was able to locate the pwrbtn pins right where i thought they were but i use two psu's and one of the psu's went bad from the board as after the first time i shorted the pins the board turned on then never again and i just thought that i did something wrong. After a couple days of thinking and testing the psu's and knowing hey i have everything right here i changed the first psu and lighted up the board no problem but this board has many problems and especially having only one molex power supply pcie slot you can only run three gpu's for mining and the other three mine lower mh/s and also crash making it impossible to run 6 gpu's stable. Anyways thanks for no one even giving me any kind of advice here wow that's a first probably thought I was just another idiot which i am not.
