I need a hard wired internet connection for my alarm in an rv park. What would work? It takes an Rj45 jack

Solution

OK. The simplest solution is a wireless bridge or wireless bridge/router. I like the Engenius ENS202. It is an outdoor capable device that is directional to maximize your signals. Mount it outside facing the WIFI source and use the router mode to prevent outsiders from accessing your alarm hardware. If any port forwarding is required, then it may not work because the RV park won't have those ports open on their router.

What are you trying to accomplish? Are you a renter at the RV park? The owner? Do you have only cellular internet?

You HAVE to describe what you are trying to accomplish. With the information you have provided so far, I would say "plug an ethernet cable into your router"... But I have a feeling that isn't what you can do. Describe your situation and maybe there is a solution.
