No its designed like that. It isnt a lock, unlock kinda thing. Its just locked and thats that.

I could be wrong but i think you'd have to put a considerable about of money in to get a good overclockable setup.

 
the only G series cpu that I believe was overclokable was the G3258 and its not multithreaded so even overcloked the performance would not equal the one your currently have. then only way to resolve this issue, would be a new processor and new motherboard as your motherboard will not permit you to do overclocking either.

your looking at I5/i7 6xxxK with Z170 board or I5/i7-7xxxK series with Z270 Board at bare minimum

getting an Intel Core i3-7350K would be ludicrous for the price they demand of it, your better off with an i5.

 
quick answer.... ..no. cheapest K series cpu is 200 quid mate... but here is the setup and yes the board needs changing as well as B250 is not overclock able)
