So i have an i3 with 2 cores and multithreading....and I bought myself a rx 470 4gb...now ive seen a lot of people playing battlefield 1 at ultra in 60 fps....my game is choppy as hell....its unplayable...i know its not my gpu because its new...bought it on this very day... my ram im thinking its not a problem for now alothough im having only 4 gb...so it must be the cpu...i am on a dead end socket or also know as the H2(1155 if im not mistaken) socket...so are there any cheap options for a new cpu with my socket since my budget is non existent right now i dont want to so anything with the motherboard.. so i dont want to change it...i want to thamk anyone who is going to answer in advance

Solution
Buy i5 for now and sell i3 and get extra RAM.If you know some store with used parts you can go there and ask them to trade your i3 for RAM.Just try to get same RAM speed and CL as your current RAM. You can use CPU-Z to get all the info you need.
Also check if you motherboard supports that i5 and if does update BIOS before you pull out i3 so you have easy swap later.

You are bottlenecked by i3 CPU, that why you have low FPS and choppy gameplay. Also if you have 4 GB of system RAM that would also just hurt performance even more.Since you are on 1155 socket best you can grab is i7 3770 or 3770k and upgrade RAM to 16 Gb or 8.

considering battlefield required I5 to run it, unfortunately your issue is the CPU, even though the latest I3 are multithreaded they are still underpowered compared to an I5, can you system be upgraded to a better cpu? more then likely, if you have the make and model of the motherboard we can confirm or not this fact. in addition you need much more ram 8gb or better 16GB as per reports on the forums of 8gb being choppy.
