CPU temp monitor software

What software can I use to monitor my cpu temps while running windows 10 ? I have a I7-7700K cpu and I downloaded Rog CPU-Z. It doesn't show temps but shows max TDP Right now its showing max tdp of 91 which I guess is ok since the system was idle. Any suggestions?

Download HW INFO. Anyway the tdp you see on cpuz is only the reference max power for your cpu, not the actual total system power draw, indeed you'll see it does never change.

I use HW Monitor from CPUID, it's actually pretty accurate in most cases, especially with Intel chips. The only issue would be if you were using Ryzen.

for some reason when i run Hwinfo when it updates its senors every few seconds i get screen lag spike that comes and goes all the sudden ?? but my cou usage stays below 25%-30%.. why is that?

That's a little strange, but if it does not affect results or system performance, you can probably ignore it. If it becomes (or already is) a serious issue, then you may want to consider a different monitoring software.
