The stock fans have started to go out on me so i need to purchase new fans but I am unsure of how to remove them from the case because i think they are wired into my pc by default it may be less trivial than I think but i was hoping someone could assist me with the process!

Of course they are wired to the PC. That's where they get their power from. The fans are physically screwed or otherwise attached to the case, easy to remove. You'll have to follow out the cable(s) coming from the fan(s) to see where it goes. It may plug into a header on the motherboard, or it may connect directly to one of the Molex connectors from the PSU. It depends on how the builder decided to do it, since the fans come with both kinds of connectors. Simply disconnect and remove the fan. Then replace with the new fan(s).
