hi, im looking to upgrade my current pc but i dont know if i should get a i7 7700 or an i5 7600. If i get the i5 id get a gtx 1060 (3gb) and if i get the i7 id get a gtx 1050 ti.
My main goal will be gaming and longevity. I dont really wanna upgrade this build anytime soon.

Thanks

edit: sorry i meant the other way around for the gpus

Usually i5 processor are quite sufficient for gaming. I would turn it around, get the i5 processor and also the GTX 1060 - most games will be graphics bound and the 1060 is somewhat better. If you can, the i5 processor will also play nicely with a better than 1060 GPU.

For longevity, go for the i7 and GTX 1060, it'll give better performance, therefore less of a need to upgrade down the line. If your motherboard can overclock, go for the 7700K. To overclock, you need a Z170 or Z270 chipset.

[strike][/strike]Im sorry i meant with the i7 id go with the 1050 ti and with the i5 with the 1060 3gb. Also im not considering k processors because the price difference with the cooler and mobo id had to buy is too much in my country. (im planning to buy a b250)
