I bought an used MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X and installed it as usual, but the system won't boot up with this card installed. The ''msi'' light flashes very quickly and nothing happens.
If I unplug the psu cables from the card, the system starts normally and the leds and coolers of the gpu turns on, but of course I receive the message asking to connect the psu cables.

With my current GTX 1070 G1 Gaming the system boots normally and the card works normally.

Sorry if there are english errors, i'm not a native speaker.

Specs:
Core i7 6850k
16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4
Gigabyte GA-X99-SLI Motherboard
Corsair GS800 PSU

Well if you have a mate with a PC you can use for 5 minutes you can check it there, and if it works there i would take a look at upgrading the psu.

I sent the gpu back to the previous owner and bought a GTX 1080 G1 Gaming Rock edition.I hope everything works this time.
