I've purchased a 1600x and ASUS prime x370 pro mob, and are now looking to purchase an appropriate kit of 16GB ram for my system. I have read online that Ryzen heavily benefits from having higher clocked ram, and have found the flare x 3200 kit to be specifically tailored to Ryzen.
I have also read that 3200mhz ram isn't officially/fully compatible with Ryzen, and my motherboards website states that it supports 3200 (Overclocked), which I'm not entirely clear on what that means.
Am I better off choosing a lower clocked flare x kit, or a different kit entirely for my build?
Also I am aware of constant manufacturer updates releasing which is causing a lot of confusion. What is the current situation?
