Hey my System and bios Suhows me my 2 8gb ram sticks as 4gb ones I also got an error if I try to dual them. I can only Put them on black/red. As soon as I try red/Red my Monitor wont Show anything(no signal) and my Motherboard Shows me error code 55.
Funny things is that I got the maximus xtreme iv z but my bios is from the normal one which i believe doesnt support 8gb sticks. It wont let me install the extreme Z bios version.
I've tested memok with no success, also tried to raise the Voltage even so they were already at 1.5v.
Windows 7, 64bit
Newest BIOS
Supported ram for my MB (crucial ballistix Sports 8gb 1.5v)
All ram Blocks are Working as long as I dont try to dual.
Both ram Working (bios only shows them as 4gb per stick even tho it should be 8gb)
Checked msconfig
Bios/OS Showed my old 2 4gb sticks on the exact Same bricks as normal 4gb per stick
