There is a weird issue with my 1 tb hdd, first my specs:

Gigabyte Sniper b6
1 ssd 120 gb
1 hdd 1 tb Toshiba (this has the issue)
1 hdd 500 gb

The cables (both sata and power) are in good conditions, the weird thing comes:

- My hdd is working, I can hear when starts to spin when powering my pc
- My hdd isnt wroken, I can use that hdd with one Sata to USB 3.0 case, my SO detects the hard drive and I can use that drive with usb 3.0
- When I connect the HDD to one of the sata ports of my MB, my hdd isnt detected, on the BIOS all my sata ports are enable.
- My 1 tb hdd dont have any SO installed, only my ssd drive has windows 10

I dont want to have my 1 tb hdd on that usb 3.0 case, for space reasons, so I need help D:
Sorry if my english isnt the best :)

Try using any other HDD, and attach it to those cables to confirm there's nothing wrong with cables
if you can use HDD as usb 3.0, that's cool, but it does not mean there's nothing wrong with that
maybe your smps is not able to provide sufficient power maybe due to other device connected, and it's watt rating,
also u should check with MOBO's socket, that might be damaged
If all that goes well, you may risk HDD complete failure in near future

Ok, the cables are fine, I swap the ssd cable with the hdd cable, the ssd works, and the hdd nope

My specs:
I5 4440
gtx 960 asus strix 2gb
4x120 mm fans + 1 x 140 mm
PSU: Corsair cx 600m 20+ bronze

About the power, I think that PSU can handle all that power, but I dont know.
And how I can check the MB socket?
