I have bought a used GTX 750 Ti for 6500INR. It's a Zotac GTX 750 Ti 2gb DDR5.
My specs are i3-2120 3.3GHz
4gb RAM (2*833MHz)
Intel DH61WW motherboard
Toshiba 500gb 5400 rpm HDD
AOC 20" 1600*900 60hz 768p monitor
Intex cabinet fitted with a 450W 20+4pin sata
Win 10 Pro x64
My doubts are whether the power requirement for card can be fullfilled by the exsisting specs and will it run with its full power,
if i try to overclock the card will there be any future issues due to power deficiency?
The AOC monitor has a VGA port and the card has HDMI port, if i use a HDMI to VGI converter will there be any issues? Will it decrease the frame rate in games or stuff like that?

When referring to a "6-pin", we mean a 6-pin PCI-E power cable. Higher wattage PSU may have several of theses and may be even additional 2-pin cables that combine to make a single 8-pin PCI-E power cable. In the olden days, even higher wattage PSU didn't include enough 6-pins. In that case, many have opt for molex-to-6-pin adapters. Those were the olden days; now, we just buy a good psu and call it a day.

Most of the models of GTX750Ti, that I know of at least, doesn't require a 6-pin and , in fact, will run with just the 75W from the PCI-E slot. Nvidia states on their website that it only uses 60W as well. You should be fine with just a 450W to power your i3+GTX750Ti.

Also, I have seem many VGA-to-DVI adapters, but have rarely...

I havent hear about that Intex PSU and I think 750ti needs a 6-pin. So maybe buy a decent PSU first or just Upgrade you whole system. If you are stuck with that, buy a decent PSU. and get a 1050 or rx 460. It need lower power requirement. And about ur HDMI to VGA thing, no, It wont affect any frames at all. Only the resolution affects fps, not the connector or stuff like that.

What do you mean by a 6 pin? I'm not a hardware techie guy, i thought the card is just like a RAM, you insert it in the PCI-e slot and job is done. Explain what can i do to make this card run with existing PSU 20+4 pin, do i need to have a converter for 4 to 6 pin?

Also, I have seem many VGA-to-DVI adapters, but have rarely encounter VGA-to-HDMI, though they DO exist. It wouldn't effect performance, however, do know that VGA is analog. The other ports, such as DVI and HDMI, are digital. It might be worth considering buying a slightly more modern monitor soon.

You COULD overclock the GTX750Ti, but there is really only 15W of head room at best. If you really HAVE to overclock it, I would recommend just tweaking the clock speeds a TINY bit and not to mess with the voltages at all.

I just searched and it doesnt need a 6pin power connector. Its just Plug and Play. It seems that it only needs 300W of PSU so maybe your PSU is okay for that. But still can you afford a bnew gtx 1050? Because that is a huge upgrade for 750ti. And it has the same power requirements on the 750ti.

Poor gamer lol, i can't afford a new or used gtx 1050 as new ones cost 12000INR and used ones nearly 8000INR, hence 750Ti is 6500INR hence i bought it and i'm gonna do only 720p gaming and the 750Ti will get the job done.
Thank you for your quick reply and help

I don't think you need to go a far as 720p with your setup. If you lower a few settings, you can still play decently at 1080p even for some more modern titles. It also depends heavily on what kind of games you are playing and how demanding they are. I don't play any of the AAA game titles, so my GTX650Ti is still rocking those older titles at 1080p.
