Hi everyone,
PC froze while trying to access something in it and had to restart.
After that my 3rd SATA hard drive can be seen in bios but can't get access to it anywhere else and PC is taking over 4 minutes to boot when usually it was less than 20 sec.

I have 1 SSD 2 HDD - all have been working perfectly for over a year

Running Windows 8.1

at a point it wasn't even showing up in the BIOS but I tried swapping the SATA cables to check if the cable was bad but it is showing up in the BIOS just not in Windows or the disk manager.
After some more testing I saw that if I see the drive after unplugging it and plugging it back in it shows up in the bios but if I go back into the bios right after is not there anymore.

If any more info is needed please let me know

If the disk is detected in the BIOS then you should be able to utilize a HDD diagnostic program to test its health. Is there some reason you're balking at doing so?

Your only other recourse is to install the problem drive in another PC either internally or externally as a USB device and test it through that means.

2 drives are working
The SSD and 1 of the HDD
Those are fine. No virus, no corruption no problems at all.

The other HDD I cant access it. Neither in the BIOS nor disk manager or in windows.

The only time I see it is when I unplugging and the plug it back on and check the BIOS but never in the OS

I tried that and it got stuck. had to reset and when i got into the BIOS the HDD was not showing up. I continue as usual to use the PC either way since I have to finish some work and when I check the HDD was showing up and I am using it at the moment.

I don't know if it will show us as soon as I have to reset.

this is getting a bit wierd
