hello there. I'm going to buy the GTX 1060 6GB MSI GAMING X graphics card. but unfortunately, my PSU doesn't have an 8 pin power connector. It just has one 6 pin connector. My PSU model is THERMALTAKE LITEPOWER 450W.
I found out on the internet that this PSU has 80-85% efficiency. that means it can provide at least 400W power, which is recommended for the GPU.
but my question is, should i use a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter? is it safe? or do i have to change my PSU?
Note: I'm not intending to overclock my GPU.
