Most Power Efficient GPU for 1080+ gaming

Hi guys

I've been trying to look into a new more power efficient gpu as my current AMD R9 seems to just eat power, I'm no vr fanatic so it runs fine for everything I play. I'm looking at anything below £300, a little future proofing might be ideal but whatever you guys have in mind that will save me some quid on the electricity would be great.

power efficiency goes to Nvidia. 1080p max settings graphics card that has best bang for the buck are the gtx 1060 3gb or the rx 470/570 4gb. However, if you want future-proofing, you could opt for the gtx 1060 6gb or the 480/580 8gb models.
