New build pc Freezes and then refused to turn off, then fails to display?

hey guys i really need help with this one,
my pc is the following specifications:
gtx 750 ti 2gb msi graphics car
asus p8p67 rev 3.1 motherboard
i5-2400 CPU 3.1 GHz
8 gb ddr3 ram
running windows 10.
it also runs 6 led 120mm fans and the cpu fan/heat sink and an additional chasis fan along with 2 x 3.5" HDDs and 2x 2.5" HDDs

i was running a twin frozr 560gtx aswell but my 750watt power supply couldnt give out enough power so i had to take it ot just to run my PC.

well it seems to freeze now, just opening file explorer or trying to install AVG and the system freezes, then it refuses to turn off, holding hte button for 1 minute still wont do it, i have to unplug it. but once unpluged it takes forever for my monitor to pick up a display.

and im not even sure why anymore or what to do about it? any ideas on whas going on?

it runs perfectly fine and doesnt freeze in bios and he CPU runs at 28/30 degrees?

whats causing ym pc to do this?

You can try and breadboard the parts most necessary,see if you get it to work like that.




If you get it to work again then yes set it to enabled.

i breadboarded the parts and ram was an issue, so i put the working ram back in and flashed the bios and reset the cmos, it powered on and worked then froze completely again and now wont display once more

What you still could try is taking the motherboard battery out for about 15min. (or even replace it after that time,since an older motherboard probably better) and put it back to see if this will get you back into the bios again.

Other option is the Crash free bios 3,

3.10.3 ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 utility The ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 utility is an auto recovery tool that allows you to restore the BIOS file when it fails or gets corrupted during the updating process. You can restore a corrupted BIOS file using the motherboard support DVD or a USB flash drive that contains the BIOS file.

The BIOS file in the motherboard support DVD may be older than the BIOS file published on the ASUS official website. If you want to use the newer BIOS file, download the file at support.asus.com and save it to a USB flash drive.

Recovering the BIOS To recover the BIOS: 1. Turn on the system. 2. Insert the motherboard support DVD to the optical drive, or the USB flash drive containing the BIOS file to the USB port. 3. The utility automatically checks the devices for the BIOS file. When found, the utility reads the BIOS file and enters ASUS EZ Flash 2 utility automatically. 4. The system requires you to enter BIOS Setup to recover BIOS setting. To ensure system compatibility and stability, we recommend that you press <F5> to load default BIOS values.

DO NOT shut down or reset the system while updating the BIOS! Doing so can cause system boot failure!
