I have seen the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M ATX Mid Tower Case and the Corsair 450d both are decent prices but what is better for a beginner to build in? Whats better at airflow, cable management and making the build be a little bit easier?

These are my components.:

I did find a better looking and cheaper case but it had no optical drive, and i've heard installing windows without an optical drive can be a real pain so its something I want to avoid if that is true.

Also do cases in general come with all the required screws/wires/fans etc needed to build the PC?

On the opposite - installing Win 10 using USB stick is fast and simple. It is pain with Win 7 though.
Case come with screws necessary to mount motherboard and drives. Some case come with fans, some not. Wires - only those necessary to connect case to motherboard.

have you considered cases from fractal design? like the define r4 or r5? those cases are easy to work with, and have for sure all the hardware provided.
The phanteks enthoo process m looks like too modular and not a conventional case (too many nooks and crannys) the corsair 450d looks better but I have a corsair 400r and screws were missing from the box (mobo standoff screws), fan screw holes too large without the proprietary antivibration ruber, a pain to get right when changing from the 120mm to 140mm positions), so I have a no confidence vote for corsair cases).

So would you recommend getting windows 10 on a USB then and getting rid of the optical drive and thus picking my preferred case?

The fractal design r4 is really nice and cheap but I was put off with the lack of opitical drive but if people are saying its easy to install windows 10 without the drive then I might have to go for it. Is it upgrade friendly if I were to put some different coolers in their in the future?

Thoughts on this ? Again, I don't know whether this is builder/beginner friendly but i'm a sucker for cheap cases with a window and bright colours!

I was reading some forums and some were saying they couldn't download their os using an external drive. Not sure if that was just that drive in particular but not really a risk I wanna take.

As for buying an opitical drive just for the os, if I had it i'd use it for old games/dvds too but if i didn't have it would've got by
