New build pc no picture used thread before posting

I'm not getting any picture from my new build and I'm getting a dram light for 2-3 seconds and then the cpu light will flash. All fans are working and gpu fan.

Tried with hdmi and vga to no avail

New builder so not very experienced

My psu has a 4 pin power for the cpu but my motherboard is 8 pin will it make a difference

i5 6500
Msi b250m gaming pro
Crucial 1x16gb ram ddr4 2133
Zotac gtx 1050ti 4gb mini
Sandisk 120gb ssd

Can you post a picture of your board, graphics card removed?

The ram is inserted it's next to the cooler. It's a little messy as I don't see the point in tidying up until it works

Try testing the other RAM slot too. If still the same, I'd check the CPU socket pins.

Tried the other ram slot and all cpu pins are fine.

I can't get a good picture of it poor camera. I can assure you they are all fine exactly as it came out of the box

Hard to say, then. Try RMA-ing both board and CPU. A local pc repair shop might also help, if not too expensive.
