I've been thinking about making a mini itx build for the rest of my family for a while now, as our daily computer is currently a 2007 iMac. I would like this to be a HTPC form factor, so we can take it where we travel. Currently, the Node 202 from Fractal looks like an appealing option. Only a monitor needs to be included, as I'll use Windows 10 unactivated for as long as I need to. I'll be playing AAA games at medium-high settings, preferably at max 60+. My budget is pretty flexible, but I don't want to spend anywhere above 780$. The new rx 500 series looks really appealing for this price point, I just don't know if it's the best. Once again, I'm just looking for the best bang for my buck, so if anyone can throw together a part list, that would be great!.

All the best,
Funderful

Few words.

Included your preferred case and GPU. Put in good single-core and dual-core performer that does great in games. Went with 1x stick of 8GB 2400 Mhz RAM since MoBo has only 2 RAM slots. If you get more money, buy the 2nd 8GB 2400 Mhz RAM stick and upgrade your RAM to 16GB. When to talk about MoBo, put in MSI B250 chipset MoBo that comes with built-in wi-fi. As far as storage goes, had to pick Hitachi (1TB) HDD over Samsung 850 Evo (250GB) SSD to fit the build within the budget.
