Hello, i got the following spec pc at the moment
just want to play andromeda at 1080p on 45-50fps apx

i5 2500 Non K
8gb ram dominator
780Ti

i got 2 options to go for an upgrade:

option 1: get a 980Ti and stick with 8gb ram and 2500 i5....i am getting it 150$ less than 1070 so this is the only card i could go for..
option 2: get a 3770 and 16gb ram and stick with the 780Ti

Solution
for MEA, you need the better CPU then u hv. Your card seems ok. game is more cpu intensive then any I hv seen so far. However game is not that great like its previous installations.

I would go for option 2 as the 780Ti is better than 1060 (1060 is part of the recommended specs) and 970, and would benefit you more since what you're getting for the option would be closer to the recommended than option 1.
Option 1 wouldn't work as your CPU is less than the minimum requirement.

I wouldn't upgrade just for Andromeda as it's full of glitches (only $40m was spent on the game).
