Hello,

I have an ASUS PB287p with a 4k resoulution. Now i have some problems with it: I wanna play my games on fullscreen windowed (often tapping out) but not on 4k cause of performance. But it seems there is no way in most of the games to play 1080p fullscreen windowed on a 4k monitor, the resoulution automaticly is set to 4k. When I change the resolution manually to 1080p windowed fullscreen the game window takes only 1920x1080 pixels of the 4k resoultuoin, it looks similar like this:

When I change the Windows 10 resoulution to 1080p everything looks blurry and I also don't want my other programs running on 1080p. I also tried the program "borderless gaming" but with this tool I only get blackscreen.

I hope someone can help, thank you in advice!

Try right clicking the exe of the game, go to the Compatibility tab, then check the box that says "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".

You could also try switching to GPU scaling in your GPU panel to see if 1080p runs sharper that way. Some displays don't scale very well.

As for the borderless gaming tool, if you mean Windowed Borderless Gaming by WesTech, make sure you follow the instructions exactly.
