Hey all,
I have just bought a bunch of parts and built up a PC only to get an error 53 on the motherboard (which I believe is to do with the memory?). Here are the main parts that I believe may be causing issues.

Parts:
CPU: Intel i7 - 7700k
Mobo: ASRock Fatility Z270 K6 gaming
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LED CMU16GX4M2C3000C15R 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4

Is there an incompatibility with the ram or is it faulty? Or perhaps is it a cpu problem.

Solution
Asrock stated on their website that:
"01 - 54 (except 0d), 5A- 60 Problem related to memory. Please re-install the CPU and memory then clear CMOS. If the problem still exists, please install only one memory module or try using other memory modules."
Did you try that solution?

I think there is no problem for your CPU, most of this problem that you faced now comes from bad RAM installation.
