    Based on benchmarks i5 7600 = r5 1600 < i5 7600k
    It dependens on what games u play. If you can get ryzen cheaper go for it.

  2. If you're speaking on just optimization, the i7 is the best bet. HOWEVER, that's becoming refutable due to the pre-mature nature of Ryzen. Even an R5 can hold its own in many games, and its number of cores and hyperthreads, while not
    optimized now, will become very useful in the future of gaming, which is currently foreseen as a future of core-intensive gaming. Another reason to get Ryzen is because of Intel's habit of ditching socket types. The current 6th/7th gen 1151 is around three years in age, which is close to the same amount of years Intel usually lets a socket type live. They'll be moving to a new socket type relatively soon, whereas AMD will be keeping AM4 for a pretty good while. For current performance that will need to be replaced later, i7-- but, for performance in the longrun and more optimization in the years to come, Ryzen.
