How to create WiFi interference (experiment)?

I am trying to see at which point WiFi interference will be an issue on my network but I have been unable to create an environment in which I ping my wireless router and get packet losses.

So far I've tried placing 3 wireless signals on the same bandwidth and pinging all three of them from different computers and not one packet was lost.

Then, I tried sticking my MIFI device on the outer glass panel of a microwave and ran a ping test and still no packets were lost.

How can I make sure I get interference? I am only doing this as a fun experiment.

Just having radios set to some frequency makes little difference. This is why the tools that select channels based on number or router SSID they see is silly. Transmitting the ssid takes almost no bandwidth and there is no easy way to tell which if any of those are actually being used.

It is pretty simple. Hook a PC to the router and another via wireless and transfer lots of data. Then attempt to use the same radio channels on a different device you will easily see the interference. Key is to make sure you are transferring lots of data.
