Sapphire 7870 XT LE Fan issues

I have been for the last month or so having issues with terrible whining but it was never as persistent as it has been in the last week or so. Today I turn my computer on and one of the two fans on it isn't working at all.

I am wondering should I buy an external fan for it to hook up to the card or should I just replace my GPU all together?

may see if you can pull it out and oil it ??

some fans may not havethat service hole then I shot a squirt of like wd-40 up under the fan blade hub [a hope for the best deal on that ]

may find replacement fan like at ebay [some are new]
