Hi Guys,

I just wanna ask that this GPU - EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card either requires a 6 pin connector or not cause i thought of buying it for starter gaming so just wanna confirm or should i go with normal 750ti.

Thnx in advance

This model of 2-fan card does require an external 6 or 8 pin, it's not a plug'n'play. However, there are also new models of cards that run faster than this (Ex; 1050/Ti, RX 460/560) that don't require a 6-pin connector. Just presenting options.

*EDIT*

I earlier said it did not, but Dragor pointed out the picture of the 6pin. On the page I used to verify, it did not list a 6-pin requirement. My own fault.

there is gtx750ti that doesn't require a 6 pin power conenctor but there are other models meant to be heavily overclocked that require a 6 pin power connector

this model

http://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=02g-p4-3757-kr

has the port so you need to use the molex to pci 6 pin converter or a psu with the 6 pin power connector

in this moment, you should not buy a gtx 750

the reason is that a gtx1050ti is double the performance for around the same price and the stock model does not require the 6 pin power connector

so, if you are going to buy new a gtx 750 ti, don't buy it

if you can buy it secnd hand really, really cheap, perhaps is a good option

You can see the 75-Watt 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector in the image of the EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW w/ EVGA ACX Cooling, P/N: 02G-P4-3757-KR. EVGA says that it is an 85 Watt card so it requires the 6-pin connector.
