Hello!

Be sure that before you overclock the memory that you make sure you motherboard is updated to the lastest BIOS as I had issues with my kit of ram paired with the same CPU as you.

In terms of CPU overclocks, I'll have to get back to you on that, as I have not tinkered with any of those settings yet, but I will get back to you asap.

Hope this was of some help!

Hey!

I have already flashed my bios to the latest. But i still cant achieve 3.6ghz stable, When i run occt cpu linpack it causes my cpu to hit 80+ degrees celcius and crashes.

I have the nzxt h440 with just all stock fans. My voltage is on 1.25, Ive managed so far 3.6ghz as for my ddr4 3200mhz only runs at 2666mhz, I cant make it run 3200mhz.

With this setup ive ran occt cpu: linpack for 1 hour no crash top temp 75C.

So you managed to get it stable? However temps are quite high- you are probably running default fan profile? My R5 1600, with stock cooler gets to 77C in Linpack, 3775MHz to be stable needs 1.35V in prime95 but 1.36V in Linpack. Fan is at 80-90% speed at those temps. I've also used Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal paste for CPU, but my case, even with 2 fans, is old and has bad airflow. To get to 3.8GHz stable in Prime I need 1.39V, so I'll leave it at 3775@1.36V.
