What can my PC run and not run, and is it efficient?

Hey guys this is my first post in Tom's Hardware and I got a question for those who are familiar with gaming, PC's and such.

I am going to buy a budget gaming pc ( won't say the budget because it changes depending on my currency's value in dollars ) and it have been suggested by many people that it is a good decent budget gaming PC that can run anything, just wanted to make sure, I'll give you the specs and you tell me what I can run and what I cannot, and a small review:
Motherboard: MSI 1151 H110M PRO-VD
Processor: Intel Pentium G4560
RAM: CORSAIR 8GB Value 2133Mhz CL15:
Graphics Card: MSI GTX1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5
Storage: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD:
Power Supply:power Boost 500w PSU
The case is not important as far as I know

Appreciate replies from experts and from anyone else trying to help out

its a very good budget gaming pc - itll play any game there is albeit the latest stuff at medium settings if you expect 1080p 60fps.

the only cause for concern there is that psu in all honesty - stuff we havent heard of on here is generally very very poor quality.

efficiciency ?? about 150w max in all honesty ( similar power draw to a xbox one or ps4 console)

So what I understand from you is that it is better for me to buy a cheaper PSU?

non-gaming? but that's the point I am looking for a gaming system
If that's what I understood from you please specify a similar specs to that PC which is decent and won't go over budget

The pentium g4560 & a 1050ti is a very very good budget gaming combo

Peoples views on what a 'gaming PC' differ vastly but that is IMO a gaming PC without a doubt.

PSU - buy a cheaper one ??? No mate , buy a better one.

Anything named power boost 500w is going to be dire quality , even the cheap evga bronze, corsair CX/vs or antec VP series are going to be at least 5x better quality than that unit you listed.

The singular issue if this is not being prebuilt for you ??
Buy a b250 board mate , while a h110 can run a Pentium it will very likely need a bios update to do so - this is not something you can do without having a compatible skylake CPU in the first place.

G4560 + 1050 Ti seems like a good pairing for games. You can always upgrade to faster CPU later if you really need to. Depending on pricing you could also look at the AMD RX 470, which is (sometimes) not much more than the 1050 Ti but benchmarks significantly faster.

Is the 8GB memory in the form of 1x8GB module or 2x4GB? Dual memory modules would be better (a matched 2x4GB kit) - the CPU has 2 memory channels, so populating both of them gives it more memory bandwidth to work with.

Voodoo bunnys comment on ram is a good point , although in all fairness the difference isn't dramatic.

Single stick 2400mhz will give you similar throughput to dual stick 2133

Best performance is obtained by 2x4gb sticks of 2400.

Really though as I said the actual performance difference for gaming is minimal at best.

it's a 1x8GB module which I prefer because it takes 1 slot which makes it easier to upgrade later on

Okay I may consider buying the b250, but about the PSU, do you have any suggestions for any good decent quality PSU that isn't expensive?
I know I'm asking too many questions but this is the first time ever so.. sorry

Just absolutely anything that is branded is going to be better mate.

These are bargain basement model & still not great quality but that is a sub 200w build

Evga 430/500w or 430/500b
Corsair vs 450/550
Antec VP 450/500/550/600

The b250 board is a priority Nate unless you have someone who can flash the bios with an older skylake CPU.

There is a 90% chance of a 110 board not being able to run the new pentium out of the box.
