Will this MSI GTX 1050Ti fit in a Dell 790 Desktop?

I have a Dell Optiplex 790, 3.1 GHz Intel i5-2400, 12 GB 1333MHz DDR3 UDIMM, 500GB Seagate HD.

This is the Desktop (DT) form factor, larger than the SFF, and smaller than the mini tower (MT).

This spec sheet says the PCIex16 Slot (BLUE) is 6.6 inches / 16.765 cm long and 2.731 inches / 6.89 cm tall

I want to use this MSI 1050Ti card: MSI GTX 1050 TI 4GT LP

but Newegg shows the dimensions to be

Dual slot width

I know Dell recommends a 35W max card for the slot, and MSI recommends a bigger PSU, but several posters report that the 1050Ti works with the Dell 790, so I want to take the chance.

The question is: HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY PUT ONE IN TO SEE IF IT FITS?

And if it does not fit, is there a 1050 Ti card that will fit in that case? How about a 750 Ti?

FWIW, I'm using a Samsung SyncMaster 215TW monitor, April 2007, 21" diag., max resolution WSXGA 1680 x 1050. Connectors: DVI (digital). So this card is more than I need, but this 10-year old monitor may need replacing, so I'm just future-proofing a bit. Besides, the 750 Ti is not that much less money.

Maybe I should have read the reviews more carefully. This guy says it fits in his 790 SFF, which is a smaller case than my DT. (of course, some people don't know the difference between SFF and DT)

Pros: - Nice and small, Card fit nicely into a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF (liek almost perfectly, not much extra room
- Did not require external power, could run it off my stock power supply as it is powered through PCIe
- easy to overclock with afterburner software
- Am able to run The Witcher 3 in a mix of high to ultra graphics between 35 to 45 fps

Cons: - included driver CD would not run the setup program, had to install the drivers directly from within the folders on the disc
- fans seem kind of loud but do not know how they compare to other cards
- is tall so it takes up the space of my other PCIe slot

Other Thoughts: - this card was perfect for upgrading my SFF pc, i wish I could use my other PCIe slot but having a card of this performance in such a small PC is worth it
- please note this is the first GPU I've ever purchased so I have nothing to compare to

OK, here is the definitive answer. Yes, it fits easily. The only potential issue is that the wireless network card is very close to blocking one of the fans. To keep it from overwhelming the weak PSU, I have limited it to 90 percent using Afterburner. I will see how it does as we go along.

How this going - looking to do the same here - with a Dell 790 DT - fit physically looks good - just worried about the 35W power limit (dell spec steets) from the PCIe (blue slot) Card needs 75W from MSI spec sheets?

The dell 7010 the slot power is 75W - do I replace my 790 and get a cheap 7010?
