I mean, it isn't bad, but if you are getting a Z270, why not get a i7-7700K? You slightly better performance. Also, not sure about Toshiba's hard drives, but 80 pounds for a 3TB drive? Seems pretty fishy to me. Do you really need a blu-ray drive? You can get a USB drive for 20 bucks (not sure about europe). Also, I wouldn't recommend using WiFi on a desktop. If you can use Wired, then go that route.

Other than that, it should be just fine.

Dude, i love your line about currys. They dont assemble pcs, but hey with that slogan they bloody well should do lol

(they dont assemble on site, it gets sent away to a specialist team)

You're better off finding a local, independent pc repair shop and asking them.

i recommend buying from scan.co.uk if you're looking to buy all from the same store . they also offer short term insurance against accidental damage when building the pc.

So if i asked pc world/currys to build it when i go to the store which isn't far from where i am, they will send my parts to their 'specialist lab' definitely right?

Also the parts ive chosen are from both pcworld.co.uk and game.co.uk lol, also reason i chose these only cuz i made 3 other builds on, pc specialist, overclockers uk, uk gaming computers. and all them are £200 - £300 more in total price, plus read reviews on service of them websites they kinda contradicting eachother. so thought might be best stick with pc world and game for parts and let pc world/currys build it, since it should get a warranty of some sort once completed and they trusted since i buy lot of stuff from them before, part from PC parts.

My current PC specs (brought from Jhon Lewis for £730 last year [reduced to clear]
Acer Predator G3-605 Desktop, i7-4770 Quad core 3.4GHz with turbo (i think up to 4.0GHz), GTX 745 OEM (4GB), 2x8GB Samsung 800MHz RAM, SSD Kingston 60GB for (operating system) 2TB barracuda HDD, wireless realtek 802.11ac, blu-ray/dvd drive combo, sound blaster cinema and im guessing PSU is 500w like the rest of the same G3-605 models.

Oh and by the way guy at pc world last week ago, when i went into the store said that GTX 1070, 1080 wouldn't fit Acer Predator G3-605 and PSU would need upgrading to a 650w which makes sense, but i seen few benchmarks with GTX 1070 or 1080 and pc world wont do that he said 'its possible but the people who had made it work would of done alterations to it to make it fit and it may cause stuttering' so only option was to get a custom pc made.

I dont understand your last paragraph.

Call pc world and ask. Every store does graphics cards and simple stuff but a total build is different.

Anyways, get a mini gtx 1070 that runs off a single 8 pin. You already have a top of the line cpu (the i7 4770) so why not keep it and save yourself a fortune?

Dont take everything the pc world monkeys tell you as gospel. If they were smart they wouldn't be working at pc world lol

Mini 1070 £350: http://www.ebuyer.com/757031-gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1070-mini-itx-oc-8gb-gddr5-dual-link-dvi-d-hdmi-gv-n1070ixoc-8gd

Get that and a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter and youre done, happy days.

The stock power supply that comes with the predator is a 500w fsp (double check the psu sticker but it should be 500w), not the best unit but it does have most of its rating across the 12v rails so should have no trouble with a 1070.

If you chose to upgrade psu and gpu at the same time you would need a 12 to 24 pin adapter for the motherboard, as bizarrely acer have gone for a 12 pin mainboard on that predator

Yeah my Graphic interface on Acer Predator G3-605 is - PCI-Express x16 link width. So would this fit, it says 500w recommended and is an 8pin

You can help us out a little here mate, grab a measuring tape and measure the distance from the expansion slots at the back to the hard drive cage at the front. That will tell us how much space you have to work with and we can go from there

An while you're in the case just double check that you only have a single 6 pin pcie connector on that power supply? Ive had a browse on fsp website and cant seem to confirm it

6 pin and 8 pins look like this: http://techreport.com/r.x/psus-0907/pcie-connectors.jpg
