Hey i just finished building my very first game pc.
I followed 2 different tutorials to make sure everything was alright but i think something went wrong.
My monitor will be delivered tommorow and my hard disk too.
So i think i did something wrong with the power supply cables.
I will leave all my specs below and i will leave below wich cables i plugged in.
Specs:
Intel core i5 7500
Asus RX 480 8gb
Asrock b250m HDV
MX F1 500 watt
I plugged in from psu to:
Motherboard
Cpu
Gpu
And that's it
Please help me, no vans are rotating just one small light on the gpu

Is the power supply switched on?
Are you trying to start the PC using your case switch?
In my last build the power button was broken on the case itself. Had to use a screwdriver to hit the on switch on the motherboard. Had to swap my reset button wiring with the power button to turn it on with the case. What Is your case?

Power supply is turned on, theres a small light turned on the gpu so there is power, my case is: ThermalTake h15 window

make sure the 4/8 pin power on the side of the mb is cpu power and not the 6 plus 2 video power cable.
on your photos there two errors. one the mb i\o shield not in right so the mb not sitting right on the stand offs. also your mb is shorted to the case. you missed the standoffs. take the mb out and post the mb with one ram stick and no gpu. see if there video.

There is one stick of 8gb ram installed, and the connections from case to motherbord should be all good
