Hello

So I wanted to upgrade my computer and bought myself a few parts:
GPU-Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 6gb
CPU-Intel i5 7600k
Motherboard-Gigabyte Z170-Gaming K3
Ram-Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8gb 2133Mhz DDR4

After putting the components together I plugged everything up to the PSU and my PC would shutdown after 3 short beeps. I moved the ram into different slots but the beeping and looping continued, so I left only one 8gb stick and the PC finally stayed turned on.
BUT
Nothing was displaying on the screen, matter the fact, motherboard made no sound whatsoever, (everything lights up, every fan is running)
I've tried clearing the CMOS, taking out the battery and everything I could possibly find, yet the system still does not post.
Could anybody please help me out?

Solution
Hi,
The board might need a BIOS update for supporting the Kaby. If possible, try returning the board and choosing instead a Z270 board.
