As the title suggests, I'm looking for a way to reverse my HyperX Savage SSD faceplate. First off, I'd like to know if opening the SSD housing is incredibly dangerous (such as opening an HDD enclosure). I just got the NZXT S340 Elite and would like to display my Savage SSD in the drive slot in the front of the case. Because of the side the cable cutouts, I would have to mount the SSD with upside-down text in order for the SSD to fit in this mount.

With all that said, what would be a suggestion here? Is the risk involved with opening the SSD (I've already had the SSD past its warranty period anyway) to great? Or is this something that I'm overthinking?

P.S. I'm not a complete noob and have steady hands, proper tools, and a static-free setup for handling computer components.

Solution
No hazard in opening a SSD, unless you scratch/break something.
Not at all like an HDD...more like taking the cooler off your CPU.
